This FAQ is to help you setup Microsoft Outlook Express.

After you complete this FAQ's step by step instructions, your Microsoft email client should be able to send and receive email using the firenet1.com mail server.

Step 1

1. Start Microsoft Outlook Express. Enter your name. Click NEXT.

2. Enter your FireNet1.com email address. Click NEXT.

3. Enter mail.firenet1.com in both the Incoming Mail & Outgoing Mail fields. Click NEXT.

4. Enter your account name. This must include @firenet1.com. Enter your password. Click NEXT.

5. Click Finish, but WAIT! We aren't done just yet.

For safety & to reduce unwanted emails, we use smtp authentication.

So, we need to set this up before you may begin sending emails through our servers.

6. Click on TOOLS, then ACCOUNTS

7. Click on the MAIL tab then Click on PROPERTIES.

9. Click on "My server requires authentication check box."
Click OK. Click CLOSE. You are now all set to send & receive email!
